Mobile Legends patch 2.2.16: who got stronger, who got weaker?
Patch 2.2.16 arrived with Season 42 on September 16, 2026 and touched 22 heroes. The yearly map update followed on September 28. Here is our own summary of the changes and what they mean in game.
Buffed
- Aulus: His skills now trigger his basic attack effect and heal him on every hit, and the first cast of Skill 2 stuns. He is one of the biggest winners of the patch.
- Alpha: His passive scales with total physical attack and Skill 2 healing roughly doubled.
- Argus: Gains passive crit chance, and his ultimate hits harder as his HP drops.
- Aldous: His shield now refreshes on a timer and gives a burst of speed.
- Lukas, Edith, Karina, Kaja, Cici and Kalea also gained damage, cooldown or healing.
Nerfed
- Melissa: Skill 1 attack speed bonus and duration were reduced.
- Miya: Lower passive damage, and a bug that added extra damage was fixed.
- Hanabi: Repeated bounces on the same target deal less damage each time.
- Yi Sun-shin, Paquito and Marcel were also toned down in cooldown or damage.
Reworked
Masha and Bruno received full kit reworks. Sun and Odette got playstyle adjustments: Odette can now move slowly while her ultimate is active.
Map changes
New pickable lights reveal hidden enemies in bushes. The Healing Turtle no longer gives a shield; instead it sends an allied turtle down the enemy's strongest lane. The Golden Turret now gives the team more gold when destroyed.
Our take
Aulus and Alpha are very valuable in the EXP lane right now. With Miya and Melissa down, other marksmen move up. We updated the suggestions in our draft assistant for this patch.
